A hardware project...I know right the software guy is doing a hardware project. Using a Pi Zero (or a few of them) and no special software creating an RTSP feed from a Pi Zero with a Pi Camera attached.

A Python3 script to create and maintain a “Golden Image” of VMs in VMWare Workstation (for the moment) on either a Windows or Linux hosts!....is now in Test!

Nothing to major in this months post just a list of ideas to keep us busy whilst Socially Isolating.

So recently I have been undertaking some courses in order to increase the knowledge I have on Pen testing and hacking in general. One of the common themes is about adequate note taking in which they (the instructors) would go into demonstrations of different applications they use to accomplish this and it dawned on me… you are using linux why not just use the tools already installed?

What is the National Missing Persons Hackathon?

The AustCyber Canberra Innovation Node has partnered with the Australian Federal Police, the National Missing Persons Coordination Centre and Trace Labs to conduct a missing person capture the flag (CTF) event (aka Hackathon) on Friday 11th October 2019. The event will see the gathering of ethical hackers and investigators using online investigative techniques within the bounds of the law to find new leads on real missing persons cases in Australia.
